The Neighbourhood

On the edge of the New Forest and a short drive to the sea we are close to Lymington with its bustling harbour, cobbled streets and Saturday market. Stepping Stones is perfectly located for nature lovers, bird watchers, beachcombers, walkers, sailors, horse riders cyclists & those who simply want a relaxing break.

For the golf enthusiast - nearby Barton on Sea Golf Club is a stunning links course. We have a number of fabulous restaurants nearby, including Pebble Beach, The Pig, The Jetty and The Haven.

The New Forest National Park was created by King William I (William the Conqueror) in 1079 to be his personal royal hunting grounds. It's Britain's smallest National Park, covering an area of 220 square miles, and it's the rare blend of open heath, ancient woodlands and beautiful coastlines, wild roaming ponies, donkeys, cattle and pigs, that make it such a unique and special place
